What are some ways that the left switches gears?
Before Saddam Hussein’s capture and after the hunt for him had begun, the left, primarily an anti-Bush movement, had pointed toward the “failure” to capture the Iraqi dictator. They had invested a good majority of their energy in this direction. As time went on and the hunt seemed more and more less likely to produce Mr. Hussein, the more the left held this out as definitive proof that they had been correct in some way to the point that it was the first thing they opened their arguments with. They even went as far as to find their own “Hussein” in an effort to further their point. Then our soldiers found Saddam and it all crashed down for them. Not to worry though, because it was as easy as switching gears in a car and they were soon dancing around the fire,again, chanting absurdities.
Conversely, I’ve heard nothing from the right about Obama’s promise to produce bin Laden.
What are some other examples of this chameleon ability of the left’s?
