Where are all the war protesters?
Does the lack of war protesters show that the war protesters were not actually anti war but anti republican. Obama still has troops in Iraq and is increasing troops in Afghanistan. Yet the war protesters are completely silent. I think this shows that the war protests had nothing to do with being anti war but was rather an anti republican movement. They are fine with war as long as it is a democrat in leadership. The only other possibllity I can see is that the war protesters are actually still out there but the democratic media is not reporting on it as fervently as they did during the Bush years. Which is it?
I’ve seen two war protests in my hometown metro area of 150,000 in the last 2 months… but we’re real liberals here so that may explain it.
I’ll grant that they consisted of maybe 15 or 20 people. I also was in a small protest at Ithaca College, but it was a general Mideast peace sort of thing.
