Is it better to file for bankruptcy or to just have the bad credit?
About 4 years ago i was ill for several months. This left us with just one income. To get by we had to use our credit cards for everything. Things got really bad for awhile and we couldn’t pay the creditors. Now they are all in collection. We are okay now but cannot aford to pay off all of the cards. I would like to try to rebuild my credit. Is it better to file for bankruptcy or just have the bad credit
Guess what? If you file for bankruptcy you will still have bad credit. Plus, the laws have changed. Even if you file you may still be responsible for your debts.
