bankruptcy cost florida

How much would it cost?
I live in Florida. My dad just brought me a car (a 2002 camaro) but couldn’t put it under his name because he is going through the bankruptcy progress. So, instead he put under my grandfather’s name. How much would it cost to transfer the car under his name?
The title transfer could be $25-50 depending on your state laws…
Your dad can give the car to your grandpa as a “gift” and thus your grandpa wouldn’t have to pay taxes and etc like if he were to “purchase” it from your dad.
I’d check with your insurance company regarding the pros and cons of this.
(A gift means $0, thus you may not get anything in the event of a totalled car…)
