How do i raise my credit score after bankruptcy and how long will it take ?
It has been 1yr. since I have filed it.
One of the best ways to help your credit score is to pay your bills on time – every month– every bill. It may take a couple of years of doing this before you see an affect.
Do not bounce any checks.
Pay off loan account balances.
Bankruptcy is a huge hit to your credit. It’s a glaring red flag that you are not responsible for your debts. That your word that you will pay a lender back is garbage. I know that’s not what you want to hear….but it’s the truth. It’s going to take a very long time to see improvement.
I highly recommend you become educated about money….so you don’t repeat the same mistakes that got you into bankruptcy the first time.
