Consolidate or Bankruptcy?
Our dept to income ratio is way to high and no banks can helps us. We have a mortgage, 2nd mortgage, utilities (some are disconnected), credit card bills, hospital bills… I was told to consolidate all our stuff and also heard that is a scam and it hurts more then it helps. On the other hand there is bankruptcy, which stays with you for a good many years. I don’t use our credit cards anymore, canceled our equity line and can’t rob Peter to pay Paul anymore. Bills are just not getting paid anymore including the house or they are getting paid very late. I don’t know what to do????????Parma, Ohio
