I was form 1nd and they took my guns with no reason?

I have been off work on stress leave do to a seperation bankruptcy and custody. I do suffer with deppression and aniety. the other da the opp come to my door and take me to a hospital they wanted me to consent to letting them search my home. The stated they were looking for any firearms i might have in the house i told them that i had moved them to a friends house until the separation was completed. The went to my friends house and took all my firearms which were registered. they then took me to the hospital and stated if i don’t voluntarily go in for a psych evaluation then they will form 1 me and force me in for an evaluation. i did this voluntarily and got released the next day I come home and find that they took all the ammunition and my PAL (possession and Acquisition License). what rights do I have, they told me that they had a complaint from my boss that i was a treat to myself. how do i get my guns back they never charged me with anything.

I assume you are in Canada based on the term PAL.
They didn’t take your weapons for no reason, they feared you were a threat to yourself or others, which is why they arrested you under the Mental Health Act.
Contact the department and inquire about how to go about getting the weapons back. I am not in your province, but here we have a Provincial Firearms officer who reviews these types of cases. The department can direct you how to contact them. He/she may chose to revoke your PAL.
