bankruptcy file again

I filed bankruptcy when I got divorced in 2002, I think I need to go again, does anyone know the Wisconsin law
of how many times you can file and how many years you have to wait to file again?
Presuming you filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 7 of the bankruptcy code, the bankruptcy law that went into effect on October 17, 2005 changed the eligibility for you to file bankruptcy once every 8 years for chapter 7. This is based on the date you filed bankruptcy, not the date of discharge. However, depending on the circumstances, you may be eligible to file under Chapter 13. You need to consult a bankruptcy lawyer to determine what is best for you. For a referral, contact your state or local bar association.
