bankruptcy keep credit card

How can I keep my credit card company from increasing my APR?
I went over my credit limit and got a letter in the mail saying that my CC company will be increasing my rate from 18.99%-26.99% unless I want to close my account and pay off the balance. What can I do? Can I call and argue. Do I tell them I am going to have to file bankruptcy to scare them? Crap.
“About” my only option? Does that mean There are more?
It’s a waste of time to argue with them, your the one who messed up by going over your credit limit so about your only option is to let them close the account and continue paying at the lower (but still high) rate until your account is paid off.
Saying your going to file bankruptcy will not scare them.
