bankruptcy minimum debt
Is there a minimum you have to be in debt to claim bankruptcy in Ontario?
I claimed bankruptcy not knowing that my girlfriends supplementary card would be held responsible for my Visa after I claimed bankruptcy. The total owing is $6,000. Is $6,000 in debit enough for her to claim bankruptcy? Thanks.
I knew nothing about banruptcy in Canada so I looked it up

It seems to me the debt has to be over $1000 which seems extremely low. Anyway bankruptcy is a serious step so best of luck with it.
