bankruptcy ottawa ontario

Can the Provincial (Quebec) Government still garnish my pay or take my assets if i moved to Ontario?
here is my question i unfortunatly have not filed for in come taxes since 2003 i have worked in Ontario since 2001 and live in Quebec all my life up until now last year i moved to Ottawa.. i am in the process of clearing up my mess and am thinking of bankruptcy i am thinking i owe approximatly the Quebec government 5000 dollars i have been lucky over the years has they have not garnished my pay or taken action but i cannot wait longer i need to fix it now.. i have to file for those 5 years that am behind and have received my form from 2003 up to 2008 from both quebec and federal and provincial what i am scared of now is that Provincial now have my new adress i am scared they will take action against me before i get to go into bankruptcy my question is can they garnish my wages or take action even if i now reside in another province ? or am i protected from action being taken against me ? thank for your help
I’m not sure if Revenu Quebec has any authority in Ontario. Call anonymously to the collections division of Revenu Quebec and ask them.
