If the leading cause of bankruptcy are medical costs, why would we stay under the current system?
If you know that it’s only a matter of statistics that you will have a son or daughter who will could come down with a disease like cancer and you’ll be told by your insurance companies that they can only cover certain procedures for a limited time span (i.e. covering physical therapy for 6 months).
If your kid is not better by then, than you will have to pull out your wallet and pay up. It’s not like you don’t have job. But, that’s exactly how people go bankrupt everywhere here in America.
Why would you not want to change that situation. You’d rather play your odds under our existing system?
Why is the only answer for you liberals a government run system that has failed everywhere it’s been tried ? What’s wrong with reforming the current system ? Or are you that insistent on spending trillions of dollars we don’t have in the worst recession with the lowest tax revenue since the great depression ? God bless.
