best post bankruptcy credit card?
I just declared bankruptcy. i know that it is possible to get a credit card to start rebuilding my credit. what is the best credit card to go with. what do I need to look out for etc?
yes I did learn from my bankruptcy. But I am very young and would like to buy a house and a car someday. so i know that I need to build my credit back up and I know that one way fo doing that is with a credit card.
So what is the best way to go secured or unsecured?
After my BK back in 2001 I used Orchard Bank and First Premier to reestablish my credit. Yes they charge huge fees and high interest but once you pay off the fees all you have to do is use them for every day things that you would normally pay cash for and then pay them off in full before the due dates and you don’t pay any interest that way and you can rebuild your credit quickly.
Additional details.
Credit score wise it makes no difference weather you get a secured or a unsecured card just as long as they report to the credit bureaus.
