Can I buy a home with bankruptcy and foreclosure on my record.?
We foreclosed on our home right at the beginning of this housing meltdown. It was finalized on Jan. 2007 and bankruptcy at the same time. My question is would I be able to buy a home around January of 2010 if all payments are made on time and all else is good? If anyone can help me, I live in Northern California.

Of course you can buy a home. The question is “will anybody lend me some money to buy a home?” Probably not.
