Home in foreclosure, what are the squatters rights?

Just some background info:
My father purchased a home. And soon after, he discovered a huge defect in the home. Could not pull a loan to fix the damage, and couldn’t get a lawyer for a lawsuit. So he moved out, and stopped paying on the home. Foreclosure.

He filed for bankruptcy, but afterward found out that the lawyer screwed them over, and he still is responsible for the mortgage on this home.

MY QUESTION:
I know, many people look down upon this; but can I myself, move back into the home? My father, was never evicted, so there is no eviction notice. I have a key to the front door still, so the locks were not changed. If I moved in, what could be done? As far as I am understanding, they can only serve me an eviction notice, is this correct? My father could care less about the property, so he doesn’t have a problem with me doing so, I just want to get more feedback.
House is in Seminole County, Florida

Squatter’s rights don’t apply in this situation – especially where you are moving into the property with the knowledge that it is owned by a third party. As for your guess that all they can do is evict you, you are wrong. They can call the police and have you arrested on the spot as a trespasser. And while you’re in jail, they’ll probably clean the house out and then hold your stuff hostage until you pay all sorts of made up fees and charges.
