check status bankruptcy
is their a way to check if my bankruptcy is discharged?
I know i am free and clear of disputes and all but i don’t think i received actually discharge papers from the courts. i filed in December of 2008.
Is their a number i can call to check on the status or order a new certificate? I live in Maryland.
Discharge of bankruptcies are public records so you can definitely find out if it has been discharged. But I think I would call your attorney and find out why you didn’t get your paperwork. Maybe it was just a clerical record.
