Why not just give every man, woman and child in America…One Million Dollars and add it to the National debt?
This would jump start the faltering economy and get the USA and housing market back on track, fix the banks back up here in America and let the foreign countries and citizens keep buying up America’s National debt as it becomes over 900 trillion dollars! Then America can claim world bankruptcy, issue new money at twice the value of any other currency and those nations who do not agree with this deal that benefits the USA, look a nuclear holocaust in the face! Also any foreign ownership of American property must be forfeited back to America and its citizens! This is exactly how Saudi Arabia got full control of the oil wells in their nation after America companies had the technology to get it out of the ground! The Saudi’s forced the American’s out, then took over lock, stock and barrel! America should do the same thing and make the world eat our nations debt, like America has had to in past years and forgive all the war costs that other nations caused!
I know exactly what you’re saying, but you’re forgetting that this rebate isn’t FREE money. More than likely, we will have to claim it as earned income on our next year’s taxes just like we did the last time we got one. Basically what’s happening is that you’re borrowing on your 2008 tax refund. The government isn’t going to just print more money to send to people!
