Should Employers be forced to keep bad employees?
If a company loses money due to someone’s racist comments, should this company be forced to keep them on their payroll? Should the company put the opinions of consumer Americans above their profit margin? Should the company have all of its sponsors driven away until it claims bankruptcy?
Imus may have been exercising his right of speech, but he did it on the employer’s time. Why should we make countless other employees suffer to protect this millionaire’s salary?
It’s not fair, but it’s how great America works! We don’t fire people that should be anymore because the employers are always afraid of getting sued for something. Getting a lawyer and suing someone is the great American way!
