credit card bankruptcy discharge

Satisfaction Of Judgement on Credit card company that was included on my Bankruptcy Discharge But still on?
I have a Judgement for a Credit card company. It is on my credit report as bankruptcy, but also as a judgement. I visited the Superior Court and was advised to contact Credit Card company so they could resolve this. We are in last few days of a home purchase and lender will not provide loan if we do not get this cleared up. Any advice??? Thanks
If the judgment was won and was placed on your credit report prior to the filing and discharge of your bankruptcy then it will remain on your credit report. It will be allowed to be reported for 7 years.
The judgment will not be removed but they do have to mark it as Discharged as part of the bankruptcy. Your bankruptcy does not erase accurate reporting, they just have to update the status of the judgment.
