To Obama, those folks in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Illinois, Virginia who live in small towns mining coal – he doesn’t care about them long-term. Obama has always said he is interested in the cities. These small-town folks are the poor, bitter, gun toting, clinging to religion folks that he belittled during his campaign. Biden said the same thing, that there will be no new coal plants in the US, Biden supports clean coal as long as it is in China. Forget about shipping coal to China, they already have coal in China and it is too heavy to ship across the ocean.

During the Primary, Hillary Clinton told said she was “taken aback by the demeaning remarks Sen. Obama made about people in small town America.” “Sen. Obama’s remarks are elitist and out of touch,” “they are not reflective of the values and beliefs of Americans, certainly not the Americans I know, not the Americans I grew up with, not the Americans I lived with in Arkansas or represent in New York.”

bye bye coal industry with the DNC. bye bye jobs. bye bye economy
