7 Steps For Dealing With the Current Economic Disaster
Americans alike are struggling with the current economic disaster. No one group of people is immune to the financial woes this country is currently facing.

3) Detach. What are you holding on to that could bring loss or crisis to your life? Let go of unneeded things before you are forced to.
4) After your life has gone through the radical change you feared, there is an opportunity to examine what security means to you. What beliefs do you hold about yourself that are being challenged by economic loss?
5) Design the new blueprint. We need to design our psyche so we have emotional retrofitting that helps us adapt to the rapid changes of 21st century. Create a lifestyle that has simplicity in both good and bad times.
6) Practice an attitude that every loss has opportunity within it.
7) When we fear future loss in the middle of an economic crisis, stress can lower your immunity to illness. Declare that you and those close to you are going to come out of this stronger, healthier, and happier people.

Stress/Anxiety/Jaw Clenching…HELP??!!?
I am so incredibly stressed out with everything, especially with this mortgage I can barely afford and this economic crisis (which is by the way, GREATLY affecting me and my family), and over the years, after taking care of everyone (husband, kids in college), I am stressed to the core! I think I even have anxiety attacks sometimes. But the fact is, I’m NOT depressed! And my doctors keep giving me low milligrams of antidepressants that DO NOT WORK. And now I keep clenching my jaw (voluntarily, but unconsciously), and my neck muscles are beginning to almost change form due to all the clenching! I’m a mess! Does anyone have this problem? What should I do? I can’t afford yoga classes or professional massages..
First, try doing some stretches, especially those involving your neck and shoulders; but, stretches for your whole body are best. You can find plenty of stretches on the internet. This will not only help you relax, but increases your blood flow which should help you feel better mentally. Do them at least twice per day (when you wake up and before you go to bed). Second, try to limit your time sitting at a computer. Sitting like that tends to increase your desire to clench. Finally, get out and exercise, focusing on cardio. Cardio will increase your blood flow and help you relax. A lot of your clenching is due to a build up of energy in your body due to stress. Burning that energy should help lower your tendency to clench.
Another alternative is to find a hobby, like reading. Libraries are free, which will not increase the financial burden on your family. This can help to be an escape for at least a short amount of time per day.
