famous bankruptcy
Our car companies r asking for Billions of dollars to avoid bankruptcy right? This chaps my a–.!!!?

Remember all of the high priced commercials during the SuperBowl Half time show. Seconds for millions of dollars for advertisement for Chevy, Ford and Dodge. Cute commercials, but were they really necessary? Will this bailout really help the situation and keep good, honest middle class people working; or will cuts still be made after the bailout only to keep the upper management and CEO’s living the lifestyle of the Rich and the Famous???

The auto industry has been bailed out time and time again. They spend too much money on union agreements that keep them from being competitive with the rest of the world. Also, they are not keeping up with the times. They seem to be a step behind the foreign competitors when it comes to gas mileage, hybrid cars and cost of production.

Every time they fall behind, congress bails them out. I feel this is a great mistake since it only compounds the problems over time. This option is not available for the normal small business owner. It’s do or die for the rest of us and I don’t see why the auto industry should get special treatment at our expense.
