Are judgement liens dismissed during Chapter7 bankruptcy proceeding?
The creditor had a lien placed on the property of the debtor prior to receiving a judgement from the Maine court. After a few months the debtor filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Can/will the lien be dismissed by the court? I am assuming the judgement will be.
