Have you ever lost money being scammed online?

I have never fallen for the Nigerian scam or any other fradulent emails but I did lose hundreds of dollars with an Internet company called Cyber-rebates.com.

I researched the company for months then I finally pulled the trigger…. I mean what could be better than free stuff? All you gotta do is fill out a few forms.

Well after I ordered, the company files for bankruptcy and I am stuck with overpriced crap which I thought were free crap.

I know a few people who lost over $50,000 with them. I guess there’s no such thing as free lunch!

Yes i was recently scammed by a company called Greenline trust. I have been looking for a bad credit loan, found a place checked them out with the FTC, BBB of WI, everything i thought i was supposed to do. I get the loan papers & i bring them to an atty to rv. the atty said some items did not make sense but all looked good legit docs.
I send the loan papers back it said the terms were i was to come up with 4 monthly pmts before closing i did and sent them the money. My loan was supposed to fund today at noon theres no money in my bank account so i call the company. The manager of the man who i dealt with said the lender wants more money now or he wont fund the loan, etc. I was so pissed i told the man if i had $5000.00 to send up front why would i be looking to barrow money. Needless to say i am 2k out as it stands now have no loan, and the bbb & ftc said since i am the first complaint they will look into taking action. These people SUCK. I wish when a scammer or comp screws the little guy/gal there building burns down or have a major lawsuit filed againt them so they are forced to pay out $$
