Can a company garnish your wages even though your in the process of filing bankruptcy?
I just began the process of filing bankruptcy a month ago. It costs 1500 and I’ve been making payments. In the meantime I got a letter from a loan company taking me to court to try to garnish my wages.
They cannot touch you, talk to your lawyer about it.
