healthcare causes bankruptcy
If the economy was steadily booming right now, would healthcare reform be an easier task to take on?
I never understood the urgency that congress and the president feel towards this issue. I was in high school when the Clinton’s first brought this up. I know that it must suck royal booty to not have health insurance, and I can see that it could cause many personal bankruptcies. But, I feel that the economy of this country has been badly wounded, and it would be more vital to get every american to work as the first priority. I know that the government had passed multiple spending bills and/or programs to keep people employed, but personally, I don’t see it where I live.

And no, the excuses are always there for health care reform by cons, just like with taxes. The economy is good. “WAAAAH! You can’t!” The economy is bad. “WAAAAH! You can’t!”.
