Is there a lawyer in Northwest Indiana that will help me sue a car dealer, and only get paid if we win?
I bought a Saturn Vue and the transmission went out. I researched it, and found that their was a class action law suit against GM involving my car and about 90,000 others like it. We got a final judgment and were supposed to get claim forms on June 2nd. GM declared bankruptcy on June 1st. Now it’s not clear if the bankruptcy court will allow the full disbursement for this debt, or even if we will get anything at all. So basically now I’m wondering if I can sue the dealer, and if the lawyer will work on the basis of only getting paid if we win and collect. No, it’s not enough money for a lawyer to take on contingency. If you want to sue, you will have to pay for your own attorney.
