Can anyone help me with a bankruptcy question?

My ex wife and I both filed bankruptcy almost 3 1/2 years ago.My lawyer told me that he did not have to list every creditor because it was a no asset case and their were creditors being carried over.I have found out the hard way that this was not true.I have things on my title to my home that I have purchased since that were things he said would be covered.I am trying to refinance my home and cant because these items are on the title.What can I do to get them removed?Is this Lawyer liable?I have tried to get him to help but he has already got his money and now could care less.Please help if you can.

IT might just be your wording here, but you write that you have things on your title that you have purchased “since”.

Anything you got credit for to buy after a bankruptcy would never be covered by the prior bankruptcy.

If this credit was extended to you before you declared bankruptcy, then yes, you needed to write down every creditor on the paperwork and they would have to have this information in order to even inform the creditors that you were filing bankruptcy on the amount of credit extended to you.

As to if the Lawyer is liable, this is going to seem funny, but ask another lawyer, and not someone in his same office. Maybe someone from another town far away.

But if nothing is in writing from your lawyer telling you not to list every creditor, good luck, the law world of courts relys heavily on the written word and not oral ramblings.
