What happens at bankrupty court?
My husband and I are filing Bankruptcy on our house due to getting into a bad adjustable rate. We have court tomorrow morning and I am really nervous. This was our first house and we had no idea what we were doing when we got into this mortgage. My attorney is a pretty high profile attorney in NJ so he has been really busy and hard to get ahold of. So I have no idea what to expect. We are in New Jersey if that helps at all. I was a legal assistant for a long time so I understand how the court system works but have never been in the situation myself. Please help so I can get a little sleep tonight. Thanks everyone!!
