Why do some illegal immigrants harshly criticize President Obama instead of being grateful to him?
Lord knows I don’t have a problem with folks who immigrate to this country with hopes of having a better life. This is the “land of the free” yet these conservative Republican white folks are against it. As a Democratic woman, I have no problem with immigration. But what really bugs me is the time I had a conversation with the sister of one of my coworkers. She came here from Mexico illegally. Like myself, she’s a religious woman. I’m Christian; she’s Catholic. I was very upset at the foul things she said about President Obama and his stance on abortion, gay rights and other issues. Last time I checked, this man has nothing against immigration. And neither do I, but if these illegal immigrants are going to squeeze their behinds into this country illegally they need to just do it and BE QUIET. They have no right to harass Obama. That’s the bottom line! Do you see any justifications for any of the illegal immigrants who have this attitude? My Lord Sweet Jesus, I just don’t understand.
Edna I’m a white man from the south, saw white drinking fountains and black drinking fountains, withe restrooms, and black restrooms. Once my best friend and I were talking on the phone, during demonstrations and he said I’m going down and throw brick at ———use your imagination, and I said I’ll be on the other side picking them up and throwing them back. Now I am really proud of the fact Obama is elected. I agree with you on all your points except Jesus, and I really don’t have very much wrong with him. But let’s get past all the wrong things this Mexican is saying that are wrong. She won’t admit it but she is probably more american than you are I, native I mean. I just am of the opinion that Indigenous Peoples have more rights than we accord them. The same as I felt black people did in the early 1960′s. I live with a Republican and I’m a Democrat, and I get livid at times when she makes derogatory comments about Obama. Let’s support freedom of speech, and that gives you the right to tell her what you think, but just remember a lot of Mexican blood or dna roamed around North America , before black or whites arrived, yeah if you ask the mexican , she”ll claim she is spanish lol. Maybe just thinking about all of our individual ignorance’s will help us understand. Smile:)
