Why have I seen a number of people give credit to Obama for this?
The removal of US troops from Iraqi cities and the pullout of all troops by 2011 has nothing to do with Obama. It was arranged by the Bush administration. So, why do people act like this is an accomplishment for Obama?
It is sad that I have to give a source for an issue that is this large, but fine.

Mel, you are very presumptive to think that I would ever want to defend the actions of Bush. Just because someone criticises Obama (even though this isn’t a criticism of him anyway) doesn’t make that person a Bush fan.
