obama afghanistan policy speech
I missed Obama’s afghanistan speech. What was it about?
i miss political speeches most of the time because they are loaded with empty rhetoric (99% of the time) or lots of exaggerations are done to make it sound good.
However, after the speech i try to get its analysis. So basically was obama’s speech all empty rhetoric or did it have any substance?
He says he wants to increase troop size in afghan. What would that accomplish? i do not see any change whatsoever by doing that. In my opinion things will just be the same. He should attempt to end the conflict and find an exit strategy, but instead he is now using the Bush technique of “surge in iraq”.
i don’t appreciate Obama on one hand criticize Bush and then use his own war policy. It just sounds as if he is fake.
