What worries you the most about Obama’s health plan?
I’ll tell you what worries me. Under the current system, individuals and corporations donate millions of dollars to medical research and cancer treatment. Under government run health-care, the money they used to donate willingly will now be surrendered in the form of taxes.
That means all these non-profit research and cancer treatment organizations will no longer get those donations. Btw. I do give money to cancer research. If I get taxed for health care, I will not be able to afford that anymore. Your thoughts?
Taste buds. I’ve already signed dozens of petitions and have e-mailed my senators (the highly liberals Boxer and Feinstein) from California.
You’re a prejudist, judging me on the basis of one question. I may be more proactive than you are.
Lets start with this: It is not Constitutional it is not optional and the Govt sucks at running anything and can be used as a political tool to give special favors to special interest groups and last but not least it destroys my freedoms of having a contract between me and my doctor and it takes the decision making out of our hands (me and doc) and puts it in the hands of a bureaucrat.
Why should I be taxed to pay someone else’s health care? Why does the “rights” of others cause a burden to bestowed upon me? That is not a right that is a govt entitlement not a right plus Govt run health care will suck, it will be rationed and the doctor to patient ratio will only get worse as more and more docs eithe quit or move out of the country.
