Obama calls for massive stimulus package, do you Americans support his economic plan?

From what I understand, the stimulus plan that Mr. Obama wants to put in force is one where he will put a lot of people to work rebuilding the crumbling infrastructure of America (roads, bridges, electrical grid etc.) and also be putting a lot of money into research, development and construction of alternate green fuels. This most certainly will include natural gas, wind turbine energy, posibly nuclear energy, geo-thermal energy etc. It is also possible that he will initiate an oil drilling plan…but that one may or may not be included.

I think it is better to use the funds to stimulate the economy in this way rather than to just hand a few hundred to every tax payer in hopes they will actually spend it on something new rather than to pay a bill or put it in savings. That will not help at all.

I sincerely hope that he will not do any more bail outs of businesses without absolute assurances that the money will be used to stimulate the economy and not just to get a poorly managed company out of hot water temporarily.
