HOW BAD IS MY COLLEGE ESSAY TYPO?
I caught a typo in my college essay but unfortunately have already sent it to all my UCs and Columbia. The mistake is:
“Ironically, the only time I’ve been present at once of President Obama’s speeches was…”
It is supposed to be:
“Ironically, the only time I’ve been present at one of President Obama’s speeches was…”
AHHH… I’m really freaking out. Other than that little typo my essay was really good. It is about how i went to live in Ghana for a month this summer. But these schools are some of my top schools and i’m really worried that my mistake will cost me admission. HELP! Do you think it’s something to worry about???
If that’s like the only typo, then no. I mean that shows that your a normal person. I’m sure they don’t just want a batch of complete robots attending the school.
