I had not heard that one.
I don’t think RFID is the most secure thing, its fairly easy to hack it and/or intercept the RF signals.
In any case, what is the impetus for switching to RFID tags for currency? It would be expensive to implement and deploy. I don’t know of any other nations that have implemented RFID as their new currency. I don’t see this happening in the US anytime soon, especially given the current state of the economy.
