why didnt obama’s $one million+ vacation to hawaii,make the news? ?
but a donation of china to the white house,is front page news,reminds me of how the press printed that nancy reagan had taxpayers pay for a set of china,when in reality it was donated as well,does the liberal press have no shame! and all this china stayed at the white house.
It was over a million – because the home he rented was that much or more (if I remember from the spread they had on tv). So, yes it was publicized. I agree with the china not being an issue – as most evey two term president picks out a set. Neither is a big deal to me. Let Obama spend his money. Let the bush’s pick a pretty pattern. The next four years will be filled with the media showing Obama in a manner befitting a celebrity, not a president. That is why the world loves him, it’s hollywood worship – Lord knows it’s not his policies – as most who voted for him don’t even know what he stands for. I hope he does well, all we can do is wait and see.
