Will Obama still go to Japan considering the Japanese are wanting a soldier on accused of hit and run?
President Barack Obama’s visit to Japan this week is being overshadowed by a demand that US forces hand over a soldier accused over a hit-and-run road accident.
Yukio Hatoyama, the prime minister, who is due to meet Mr Obama on Friday, said on Tuesday that Japanese authorities should be allowed to prosecute the suspect, who is being held by US authorities, after a Japanese man was run over and killed last weekend near an American base.
What will Obama do?

Alex – If you read the article he is also refusing to go to Hiroshima and Nagasaki to honour the deaths of Japanese citizens due to the atom bombs (nukes), the Japanese are not pleased with him at all.
He’ll have to at least land and take a few pics before fleeing unless he can come up with an urgent diversion. Maybe he should sneek good ol’ slick Willy Clinton along for the trip since that guy seems much better at talking his way out of problems.
