payroll taxes bankruptcy
Can I add my payroll deducted chapter13 payments in my taxes somewhere?
My w-2 states I made $43,000, but I had $22,000 coming out for deductions. So i really only made $21,000. Where do i put my chapter 13 bankruptcy deductions on my taxes?
No you cant because this is still income that directly went to paying your Chapter 13 which is just like a consolidation loan. If you filed a 7 parts of it may be. But nothing in a 13 has anything to do with your taxes unless you owe back taxes filed under your Bankruptcy then in some cases they can apply your refund to your 7 or 13.
