pension fund bankruptcy

a question about the looming GM bankruptcy?
are we as Americans giving ourselves the shaft in this deal, the bondholders are refusing to make a deal with GM, yet most of us have pension plans, which no doubt are invested in GM, so after bailing GM out with billions, and taking a bath on out 401 K plans, are we now getting the final shafting with the bondholders (pension funds) refusing to make a deal with them?
America as been helping the people abroad build car making factories instead of looking after Americas own interests, and now there is a glut of cars being produced in the world and now America is reaping the consequence of all this. Its about time America looked after America for a change before its too late.
