preferential payment bankruptcy
I was getting my wages garnished (Feb & Mar) I filed Bankruptcy Ch 13, on Mar 23,2009 – my Attorney filed?
for the return of my wage garnishments. The creditor (Ford Motor Credit) ordered the Sheriff dept to only return the wages that were garnished after I filed!
My Attorney states this was illegal (preferential payment) and is seeking to get all my monies returned to me.
