GM states bankruptcy not an option for industry?
Every industry suffers job losses, including my, IT. Several US airline industry went through chapter 11 to allow them to re-organize so they can execute plans to put themselves back on track to be an independent profitable company, they also had to work with unions through it.
Why do they think they are so special?
You are correct But all GM is doing is trying to keep things the same outdated ways.
Why should they file bankruptcy when they can get free money from us?
They don’t get it. That extra 2 to $3,000.00 they have to add to each vehicle to cover those outrageous UNION costs keep them from competing . The Golden Parachutes for the executives need to end .( by the way don’t believe the president is going to work for ONE DOLLAR a year) Check out how many extra stock options he received for that piece of smoke and mirrors!
Oh by the way,Why can’t they make a quality car that will last one extra mile past the warranty expiration?
We may as well give that industry to China like everything else we have given them.( Thank You Wal-Mart.)
