Who is thanking Obama for what he said in Turkey?
“One of the great strengths of the United States,” the President said, “is … we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values.”
So, according to the president, the US is not a Christian nation, yet the Us has “ideals and values”, which suggests he thinks these are not religiously derived.
How should we thank him?
Any US citizen who doesn’t like the word “we” here should also be against the same word in “In God We Trust”.
Us (above) should read US
I like what he said.
Only ignorant people think that US is a Christian nation. The problem is there are so many of them out there.
