A parcel of land I own was “surrendered” to the court in a bankruptcy case. How long can the court keep it?
To my understanding they have only a certain amount of time before they have to turn it back over to the owner if it’s not sold. Located in the state of Alabama.
Never, they hold it untill sold and then split the proceeds to the various debt holders. You never get it back.
