help.. i need advice dealing with my mother….?
im 23 and i had to move back home with my mom to save money. me and my boyfriend split up. my 19 year old brother and wife live there also. my mom is 3 months behind in rent. she goes between jobs every 2 or 3 months. all her utilities are getting shut off one by one. she just filed bankruptcy. she gets public assistance for food and medical which is a plus. she has a paid off car and is able to physically work. my problem is how do i help her without getting walked all over. she is my mother and i feel bad cause of the situation shes in. she blames all her problems on a divorce that happened 3 years ago!! she expects me and my brother to take care of her. i cant save money paying all the bills. i had to add my name to the lease to avoid eviction. i had to put the cable and gas bills in my name. i have only lived there on and off for about a month now. this is soo stressful. i want to help her but i dont know how without paying and doing everything. but how will she learn???
well hun its a trap just like a parent constantly giving money to there adult children it will never stop. Maybe if u let her know This is the last time I can help u out Because my family needs the finances also.
